Hi, my name is Latreice Lathan, and I am an actor in Austin, Texas. It wasn't a long-lost dream of mine; I actually wanted to be an obstetrician-gynecologist. After going through premed and not doing so well with my grades, I realized that wasn't the career path for me, even though I wanted to help people and make a difference. I went into medical records logistics and many other jobs, but acting has become the longest-standing career path for me. I love every sleepless hour and long day on set that has helped me travel and meet new people.

 

Acting was one career I never thought of until my curiosity got the best of me, and I signed up for casting calls and walked onto my first movie set. I fell in love—it was an exciting and fast-paced learning experience. My journey started out rocky, but it pushed me even harder.

 

I'm a go-getter, from not having a clue what happens on a set to being in commercials and TV shows.
